The Bush...in The Sun
The Bush who had local San Bernardino/Riverside hits with Feelin' Sad and Lonely and Who Killed The Ice Cream Man finally got an article written about them in The San Bernardino Sun newspaper. Tuesday February 12, 2008 on page B-8 of the Inland Living section of the paper, there was an article written by Nick Caltado, the San Bernardino historian.

There is also a link http://www.sbsun.com/sanbernardino/ci_8234326 where you can read the article on line. I dont know how long it will be there so check it out soon.

Thank you Doug much for posting the Bush story link. For those of us who now live in different places it's great to get these historical recaps.

Thanks for The Bush article. I know their drummer Greg Eckler.I was in a band at that time to called The Almost. All the local bands at that time use to practice in the back of Lier's Music store in San Bernardino.

Is that the same Greg Eckler who used to go to San Bernardino Community Church - married to Tarin?

Yes it is.

Another local garage band from the 60's, the "Good Feelins" have a web site at goodfeelins.com

You can listen (at least as of 11/18/09)to some of their hits like "I'm Captured" and "Shattered" at the site. You can hear the needle as at plows through the groove.
