- Until the year 1966 my main interests were reading and collecting comic books (Superman in particular)Then I started listening to the radio here in San Bernardino. I listened to KFXM and KMEN and a new hobby started. Not just listening to the radio, but getting involved by wondering what new song was coming out, talking to the DJs, winning contests and of course collecting records and just loving the music I heard on the radio along with the radio station and DJ's. This became a big interest in my life. Now 40 years later, it's not much different.

Ditto on WAR and PB by Left Banke.
I wished back then that PB would
go on and on but it was too short,
as most records were still under 3 minutes
back then. Only 2 hits but I will
listen to either anytime.
